Soulmate Day 2017 – Calaruega and Bag of Beans
Soulmate Day is the time of the year we celebrate and enjoy each other’s company. For this year, we decided to take a break from the busy city and have a one-day escape just near the area. There are actually a lot of beautiful places to choose from and it’s a blessing that we are living close to Tagaytay and Batangas.
A lot of times we planned to visit Calaruega, and finally for this Day, we settled in visiting this place.
Calaruega is a very peaceful place. This is actually a house of prayer and renewal with two beautiful Churches built inside. Many couples are choosing this place for wedding and proposals because of its serenity and also the feel of like you are in a magical place.
For early dinner, we went to the nearest park, The Twin Lakes and we dine at The Bag of Beans.
Soulmate and I really loved the interior. We enjoyed the scenery as the place was surrounded with Glass, that also gives a good lighting inside. On the 2nd floor, where we stayed, the decors are shabby chic but the walls and shelves are painted with white, also gives a bright feeling and perfect for photo taking.
On the first floor, I think, is like more of a Mediterranean design. Both lovely in their own different ways and fit for every chic styles.
We also loved all the foods we ordered.
This really was an amazing day! A whole day spent with your loved one is a treasure. As well as being in nice places together.
Looking forward for next year!
